Role Overview:
As the Nurse Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing managerial and professional leadership to our clinical teams. You will play a key role in the strategic development of the practice, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of care. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and supporting the professional development of your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and support the nursing and paramedic teams to deliver high standards of patient care.
  • Provide professional leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to implement the practice's strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Oversee clinical operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize patient care services.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Lead vaccination and immunization programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant nursing/health degree.
  • Significant post-registration experience in a clinical leadership role.
  • Mentor/teaching qualification and experience in clinical supervision.
  • Experience in managing patients with long-term and complex conditions.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, local and national health policy.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in managing change and conflict resolution.

Desirable:

  • MSc or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in project management and working with community development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of public health issues and determinants of health in the local area.

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a strong team-player mentality.
  • Effective communicator, able to tailor communication to diverse audiences.
