Healthcare Assistants - Care Homes - Ad-Hoc Shifts

We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to work on an ad-hoc shift basis in Care Homes across the Harwich area. This flexible position allows you to pick shifts that suit your schedule, providing the perfect opportunity for individuals looking for a rewarding role in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents in Care Homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Monitor and record patients' conditions, reporting any changes to senior staff.
- Support residents with personal hygiene tasks and ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Work in a person-centered approach to provide emotional and physical support.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- A willingness to undergo further training and professional development.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and flexible with working hours.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
