Jo's bio

Hi, my name is Jo and I qualified as a nurse in 1985 and advise Staffaid on all clinical-related matters, as well as squeezing in a few agency nurse shifts too! I am actively involved in our nurse recruitment process, assessing all nurses on their clinical competence before they start work. I also play a significant part in our ‘Return to Care’ programme. I worked in the NHS for 37 years reaching senior management level, before taking early retirement in March 2020. I have a wealth of experience, particularly within elderly care, which is of great benefit to StaffAid. I am very active and enjoy regular visits to the gym, keeping fit, skiing and retail therapy!
