A salaried GP is someone who is employed by a practice or group for a set number of sessions and earns a salary.

Your annual salary will depend on how many sessions you work and your experience. However, the rate per session ranges from £8,000 - £11,500, dependent on geographic location.

A GP session is defined by the British Medical Association as four hours and ten minutes of clinical work.

Our role is to find you work, whether as a locum or salaried GP. Registration support, career advice, assistance with compliance and training, payroll advice and support – MCG Healthcare will be with you every step of the way.
