You may have noticed that our homepage has turned a little pink…
But this isn’t a display issue on your monitor, there are no technical issues in the IT department, and our marketing team haven’t suddenly decided to go for the vivid “rebrand” that they were threatening at the Summer Party… we are showing our support for #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth!
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the pink ribbon, a powerful symbol for millions of people affected by the disease, Breast Cancer Awareness month is aiming to raise funds throughout October so that vital free services can continue to be provided. Whether someone wants trusted information, to speak to a nurse, to join an after-treatment course or to connect with someone who has experienced breast cancer – this money will help someone feel more in control.
Because control is such a vital aspect to this terrible disease. With so many within the McGinley Group personally affected by family members and colleagues as cancer victims, sufferers and survivors, seizing back the control and fighting is very close to our hearts! So, along with millions of others this month, we will be going that extra mile to raise funds, lobby for better care, increase awareness for greater knowledge and encourage patient empowerment.
McGinley Healthcare could not be prouder to be a part of this worldwide campaign, so however you choose to mark this month, make it big and make it #Pink!!
