Giving you a choice of shifts

Despite being a new business, our ultimate aim is to be the preferred supplier across your region to give you a greater choice of shifts. I must admit, it’s incredibly hard work, however we’ve made a great start. Already we are a 1st tier supplier (meaning we’re offered shifts first) to a number of Private Hospitals and Healthcare Organisations including:

  • Spire Healthcare
  • BMI Healthcare
  • Nuffield Health
  • Ramsay Healthcare
  • BUPA Nursing Homes
  • Embrace – Nursing Homes
  • Community Integrated Care (CIC) – Nursing Homes

With regards to the NHS you may be aware of the pressure that has been put on trusts to only use framework agencies for their staffing. To put it simply, to be an agency that the trusts can use you must be a supplier through one of the three main frameworks recognised by Monitor:

  • Healthtrust Europe (known as HTE)
  • London Procurement Partnership (LPP) now known as National Clinical Framework (NCF)
  • Crown Commercial Service (CCS)

The frameworks essentially work like a membership (a membership that is vital to ensure we can provide you with shifts from the NHS) and to become a member you must meet certain criteria. To complicate matters, opportunities to be a part of each framework only open every 3-5 years!  However, I am delighted to confirm that we have been awarded a place on both HTE and NCF during the course of this year, which is almost unheard of for such a new business. Not only this, but we were placed 12th of only 130 agencies through the HTE tendering process.

This means that we are now supplying to a number of NHS Trusts, too many to list here! To know more about what shifts there are in your area please contact your consultant who will be happy to discuss these with you. We will continue to work hard to win more contracts throughout the year and to keep you updated with our progress.
