Capped Rates

You will be aware that the NHS is under considerable pressure to use agencies that will supply at the capped rates. Our stance on this matter is that we represent all our Nurses, ODP’s and Healthcare Assistances that play an invaluable part in our NHS.

Should you, as an agency worker, be happy to work at the capped rates relevant to your role then we will support this and offer you work in each of the NHS Trusts that we provide to. Should you feel that you do not want to work at these rates, we will also support this and manage this message to our NHS clients. Your consultant will know what rate you are happy to work for and will offer you work that is appropriate. We are transparent and honest about our pay rates and will advise you of the rate before you accept a shift at each new location that you go to work at. Should you wish to discuss your thoughts on the matter, your consultant will be happy to listen and support the way in which you want to work. Alternatively we hold quarterly drop in sessions at which we can discuss whatever you would like.

We want to assure you though, that while there is currently a lot of scare mongering in the market, there is plenty of work out there, at very worthwhile rates and there will always be a need for agency, to ensure that there are safe staffing levels through the peaks and troughs that our health service naturally experiences, and for the situations that can’t be planned for.

Each and every one of you are life savers, literally, and we will make sure you feel valued for the role that you do.
